About this role

The Business Manager is responsible for development, implementation, coordination, and management of the company’s compliance program.

To include auditing of the facility’s business operations while ensuring compliance with regulatory, legal requirements and company policies.

The Business Manager collaborates with the executive team to ensure the financial performance and budget priorities of the facility.

The position relies heavily on strong interpersonal, computer and analytical skills to identify problems, complete root cause analysis and provide solutions.

Plans, coordinates, communicates, and supervises the delivery of business-related functions daily by applying business management policies and generally accepted accounting principles.

Provides direction on performance indicators, as directed by the administrator and the executive team. Demonstrates knowledge of Title IX, CARF, and other regulatory standards as they effect the business facility operations.

What you bring to the table

Education

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited U.S. college or university, or certified foreign studies equivalency in business administration, accounting, finance or closely related field.

Experience

Three (3) to five (5) years of progressively responsible business operations experience to include two (2) years of auditing fiscal operations.

What you will do

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Developing, implementing and managing an organization’s compliance program


• Coordinating with federal and state regulators


• Planning, implementing and overseeing risk-related programs


• Creating and coordinating proper reporting channels for compliance issues


• Developing company compliance communications


• Coordinating and scheduling required compliance training for employees


• Supports all of the facility departments and must navigate, facilitate, and negotiate successful tracking and coordination of actions


• Provide resolution to complex problems to include planning, development and coordination of a wide range of operational processes


• May engage in specialized programs, projects, and research impacting administrative services and operations

Participates in various committees and meetings related to department activities and responsibilities

Monitor and adhere to confidentiality requirements

Chair the Corporate Compliance Committee.

Must attend in-service training to include topics as outlined in Title IX & CARF regulations

Maintain sensitive / confidential employee and client information

Collaborate with multiple departments (administration, program, nursing, and support services) to resolve issues and improve work-flow processes

Interacts with clients / families / customers and utilizes feedback to improve and reinforce satisfaction

• Adheres to Title IX and CARF regulations


• Adheres to all regulatory requirements including facility policies and procedures and professional standards
