Join Clean Harbors as a Class B CDL Driver to operate light and heavy-duty trucks and work equipment at our customer sites. Your responsibilities will include driving vehicles such as Vacuum Trailers, roll-off trailers, van trailers, box trucks, and high-powered vacuum loaders as you engage in hazardous waste clean-up operations.

Please note: All new hires must attend a two-week training academy, with travel expenses and per diem provided by the company.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prioritize Health and Safety by adhering to all safe work practices, policies, and procedures.
• Operate commercial trucks and provide assistance to field laborers as needed in a team-oriented environment.
• Operate various Class B trucks and assist with loading and unloading.
• Ensure customer satisfaction during service delivery.
• Properly placard vehicles according to Company and DOT regulations.
• Maintain daily logs, time sheets, and required reports.
• Comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Observe corporate and environmental health and safety guidelines.
• Perform additional duties as needed.
• Availability for emergency response on a rotating schedule every other week.
• Engage in site remediation, equipment decontamination, and management of hazardous materials.
Required Qualifications:
• Valid Class B CDL.
• Ability to obtain Hazmat and Tanker endorsements within 90 days of hiring.
• Capable of using various mobile devices.
• Must be able to drive manual transmission vehicles.
• Able to perform physical functions as required.
• Pass a background check, drug test, and physical examination.
• Meet facial hair standards as per OSHA's Respiratory Protection Standard.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience as a commercial driver.
• Existing Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.
• Previous Hazmat handling experience.
• Experience with manual transmissions.
• Prior manual labor experience.
