This position is located at our IMC Companies Headquarters in Collierville, TN.
Position Overview: Vendor Analyst ensures accurate and timely vendor reporting utilizing applicable systems and processes and maintains a high level of customer service for both internal and external customers.
Essential Job Functions:
- Respond professionally and timely to email
- Create and consolidate vendor reporting to update and reconcile with information inside SWS
- Meet customer expectations on assigned vendor Service Level Agreements
- Assign vendors to orders with appropriate pay rates
- Maintain important vendor dates, times, pickup and delivery schedules within SWS
- Confirm additional charges with vendors using XCB processes
- Maximize revenue opportunities with vendor power
- Optimize the network to create efficiencies and capacity
- Approve interchange and POD paperwork
- Trace and Tracking chassis
- Vendor KPI reporting
Other Job Functions:
- Maintain professionalism and help promote a positive atmosphere amongst team
- Represent IMC Companies in an ethical manner
- Integrate and utilize IT improvements
Job Requirements:
- 1-2 years transportation experience a plus
- Microsoft Office knowledge and application
- Exceptional communication skills
- Data entry skills and reconciliation
