Amazon's Prime Video is a premium on-demand video entertainment service that offers customers original programming from around the world to over 240 countries. The Amazon Prime Video (PV) team is shaping the future of digital video entertainment. Our mission is to offer customers the widest selection of digital video content including Amazon Original content and make it trivially easy for them to enjoy it wherever and whenever they want.

The International Prime Video Finance team is looking for a Finance Manager to 1) lead benchmarking, reporting, and analysis that spans across all International territories and 2) lead finance support for a new "Outside Home Country" program.

This role will partner with finance peers across all international regions to benchmark content and marketing efficiencies and present opportunities to the VP of International Prime Video and her leadership team. In doing so, the individual will identify and implement processes to evaluate our content and marketing investments feeding into long term business strategies. This person will also support several adhoc analyses and reporting needs for the PV Int'l leadership team. In addition, this person will lead finance support for a newly created "Outside Home Country" program and be the primary finance partner for this business team. This will involve not only defining KPIs, but also setting in place guardrails and mechanisms for how said KPIs are utilized to scale and evaluate this new program. This role will require exceptional Finance and Accounting skills, ability to work with cross functional teams to create multi-year financial projections, strong business judgement and the confidence to clearly and concisely communicate findings to senior leaders.

A successful candidate will be skilled at partnering with stakeholders across the business and financial spectrum, juggling multiple deliverables, communicating clearly and concisely with leaders and peers and have a proven track record of influencing business strategy. They will be comfortable thinking big and diving deep and be a proven cross-functional leader. This role will also be responsible for hiring and developing a team of analysts.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 8+ years of finance experience or a related analytical field.
• Demonstrated expertise with building financial models and processes using MS Excel
• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple projects

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• MBA or Master's degree in Finance or quantitative field
• Prior work experience in an entertainment company
• Advanced analytical skills and the ability to get into the details, while also seeing and understanding the big picture
• Excellent written and oral communication with proven influencing skills
• Comfortable working in cross-functional teams
