We are looking for a Strategy and Business Development Specialist to join Walmart Connect's (WMC) in-house Strategy team. WMC Strategy is tight-knit, high-visibility team with a big impact on our omni-channel business. You will assist in the scoping of new monetization opportunities via advertising ideas through our evaluation sprints and support the development of our long-term strategy.

Position Summary... What You'll Do...
We are looking for a Strategy and Business Development Specialist to join Walmart Connect's (WMC) in-house Strategy team. WMC Strategy is tight-knit, high-visibility team with a big impact on our omni-channel business. You will assist in the scoping of new monetization opportunities via advertising ideas through our evaluation sprints and support the development of our long-term strategy.
Responsibilities
- Develop perspective on trends in the digital advertising industry and clearly articulate insights
- Intake new ideas from across the organization and groom evaluation sprint backlog
- Assist in the development of WMC's long-term strategy definition
- Prepare leadership materials to communicate evaluation sprint progress and strategy definitions, while collecting cross-functional input
- Maintain communication vehicles to ensure leadership messages are communicated to the team and cross functional partners
Qualifications
- Passionate about the digital advertising and retail landscapes
- Bachelor's degree is required
- 1-3 years of experience in innovation, business consulting, investment banking, corporate strategy, or advertising strategy
- Ability to achieve strategic goals and evolve thinking based on research, data, and industry trends
- Highly collaborative and strong communicator comfortable working cross functionally in a fast-paced environment
- Intellectually curious, high energy, and strong work ethic
