In this role, you will manage and inspect chemical waste in line with Federal, State, and Local regulations, while following our company policies and procedures. This position involves working both indoors and outdoors at various locations, including plants, labs, and customer sites, with a focus on assisting with lab packs, household hazardous waste (HHW) collections, and lab moves. You will engage with customers daily, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and expertise.

Your Responsibilities:
• Prioritize health and safety by following all safe work practices and policies
• Create computer-generated packing lists, labels, manifests, and land disposal restriction notifications
• Conduct inspections of staging and storage areas to ensure compliance and housekeeping procedures
• Assess storage areas and drums for leaks or spills and ensure proper labeling
• Collect, segregate, and package waste chemicals efficiently while ensuring compliance
• Engage directly with Clean Harbors customers, including Fortune 500 companies
• Prepare all projects for shipment according to OSHA, EPA, DOT, and company standards
• Conduct sampling and profiling of new waste streams or any waste requiring analysis
• Ensure accurate drum counts and shippable drum conditions in accordance with company policy
• Adhere to all relevant compliance regulations
• Safely operate vehicles according to U.S. DOT and other requirements
• Follow company environmental health and safety guidelines
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
• Valid Class B CDL Driver's license
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to obtain hazmat and tanker endorsements within 6 months of hire
• Ability to perform physical functions as required by the job
• Successfully complete a background check, drug test, and physical examination
• Comply with OSHA's respiratory protection standards

Preferred Qualifications:
• College degree in Chemistry or Natural Science
• Experience in Environmental Services, such as remediation and emergency spill response
