Job Summary of Heavy Haul Truck Driver:

We are seeking a reliable Heavy Haul Truck Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while ensuring timely deliveries. You will operate a commercial vehicle, comply with all DOT regulations, and maintain accurate delivery records.

Qualifications of Heavy Haul Truck Driver:
• Participants are required to be twenty-one years old at a minimum
• Having a valid commercial driver's license of Class A
• Keeping a spotless driving record is key to being a reliable driver
• Have the capability to secure or already hold hazardous materials, tank vehicle, and doubles/triples endorsements within a 90-day timeframe
• To pass a DOT drug examination, individuals must have a spotless track record void of any positive test results or refusals during the previous three years
• Maintain a legitimate DOT Medical Certification Card or undergo a DOT physical funded by the employer
• Capable of working a versatile schedule encompassing shifts lasting up to 12-14 hours per day, with availability during both daytime and nighttime hours as well as weekends

Heavy Haul Truck Driver must execute the tasks allocated to them as part of their role:
• Lift objects of various shapes, sizes and weights (frequently up to 50 lbs. and occasionally greater than 75 lbs.); move and position a converter dolly with an average weight/pull force of approximately 128 lbs.
• Safely climb in/out of a tractor cab/trailer
• Sit for extended periods in a truck tractor and/or on a forklift; safely operate heavy equipment and a forklift
• Walk and stand for extended periods on various surfaces that may be uneven or slippery (including working outdoors in inclement weather)
• Reach (including above your head), bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat and kneel
• Operate a tractor-trailer combination for up to 11 consecutive hours, in all types of weather, while safely transporting hazardous/non-hazardous materials
