Clean Harbors is actively seeking a Class B CDL Driver to operate both light and heavy-duty trucks, including Vacuum Trailers, roll-off trailers, van trailers, box trucks, and high-powered vacuum loaders at our customer sites. This role involves performing various driving and non-driving tasks related to hazardous waste clean-up.

Requirements: This position requires a CDL Class B license (with the ability to drive manual) and a tanker endorsement. A Hazmat endorsement is preferred but can be obtained within 90 days of your start date.

Training: All new hires will attend a two-week training academy, with travel expenses and per diem paid by the company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure Health and Safety compliance by adhering to work practices and policies.
• Operate commercial trucks and assist field laborers as part of a team.
• Handle loading and unloading of trucks.
• Maintain customer satisfaction during service.
• Properly placard vehicles in compliance with Company and DOT regulations.
• Keep accurate daily logs, time sheets, and reports.
• Follow all regulatory compliance guidelines.
• Safely operate vehicles in accordance with U.S. DOT and local laws.
• Observe corporate operating guidelines and environmental health and safety protocols.
• Be available for emergency response on a rotating basis every other week.
• Manage site remediation and the handling of hazardous materials.

Qualifications:

• Valid Class B CDL.
• Tanker Endorsement.
• Ability to obtain Hazmat endorsement within the first 90 days.
• Comfortable using various mobile devices.
• Ability to operate a manual transmission.
• Physically capable of performing job duties.
• Meeting facial hair standards as per OSHA's Respiratory Protection Standard.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Commercial driving experience.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.
• Prior Hazmat handling experience.
• Experience in manual labor.
