We are looking for a Program Manager to raise the bar in change management to drive and accelerate pilot/change initiatives in IT Services to meet the customer experience and productivity goals - with an impact that spans across the entire network.

In this role, you will set up the strategy for change management, ensuring adoption and success measures are met as we continue to learn and evolve our approach to Amazon Style. The ideal candidate will directly support implementing the strategy for change management, ensuring adoption and success measures are met and will be expected to spot risks and ask the right questions to ensure appropriate trade-offs are considered. This position will create mechanisms to effectively support the implementation of enterprise changes that impact Amazonians through a wide array of IT deployments. To be successful in this role, you need to pair strong analytical skills and a data-driven outlook with strong intuition.

This position will partner closely with Program, Product, and Operational teams as well as regularly communicate with cross-functional leaders throughout the company. Construct clear and concise verbal and written communications to ensure all stakeholders are informed of progress, changes, expectations and next steps.
Define program requirements and drive team(s)/partners to meet time bound objectives.
Spot risks, issues, and ask the right questions. Clear blockers, and escalate appropriately.
Accelerate progress by driving timely decisions.
Manage meetings effectively. Drives detailed discussions and high-level alignment.
Manage difficult and/or cross-functional projects/goals.
Manage complex problems; analyze data; highlight trends, gaps, etc.; and report key metrics.
Apply change management processes and tools to create strategy in support of adoption of enterprise changes.
Work backwards to define and deploy innovative change management approaches and methodologies.
Conduct impact analyses, assess change readiness and identify key stakeholders.
Identify risks, anticipate and manage resistance, and develop specific plans to mitigate any challenges.
Drive the design, development, delivery and management of stakeholder assessments, change impact assessments and communication plans to ensure business readiness and adoption for implementation.
Track and report issues.
Lead and coach key stakeholders in change management process and strategy.
Support integration of change management activities into project plans.
Provide input, document requirements and support the design and delivery of change management programs.
Commit to continuous improvement mechanisms that keep raising the bar for our customers and associates.
Coordinate deliverables in support of change management process and workflow.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years experience in program or project management
  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
  • Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams

Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated experience implementing change management principles, methodologies and process.
Experience defining and delivering upon program requirements.
Demonstrated problem solving and analytical capability.
Ability to work effectively within tight deadlines.
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple, competing priorities.
Ability to work through ambiguous situations.
Ability to develop efficient planning, reporting and control process.
Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
Team player capable of working collaboratively with others.
Acute business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges.
Familiarity with project management lifecycle, tools and process.
Proven track record of demonstrating ownership while successfully delivering results.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience performing discovery and scoping activities towards multiple concurrent program launches.
Outstanding speaking and presentation skills, as well as the ability to persuade, inspire, and motivate others.
Prior demonstrated success leading a change management portfolio.
Experience communicating with senior management (Director/VP-level decision-makers).
Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize workloads, maintain strong attention to detail, and work independently.
Comfortable challenging the status quo and questioning existing practices.
