Responsibilities:

• Give paramount importance to road safety concerns for all individuals piloting tractor-trailers.
• Make sure the vehicles are fit for travel by conducting detailed pre- and post-journey checks.
• Arrange and coordinate delivery routes with precision to optimize efficiency and ensure timely deliveries.
• Ensure the safe and secure transportation of shipments by complying with industry standards for handling and packaging.
• Maintain seamless communication channels with both dispatchers and customers throughout the delivery process.
• Record hours worked and vehicle maintenance activities accurately and consistently.
• It is imperative to observe safety protocols and follow DOT regulations to safeguard both individuals and the products being shipped.
• To adhere to regulations, report instantly any vehicle-related problems, accidents, or breaches.

Qualifications:

• Retain a proper Class A CDL qualification.
• Clean driving record.
• Satisfactory completion of a DOT physical assessment and drug screening protocol.
• Strong skills in organizing time efficiently and syncing activities.
• Efficient and secure handling of heavy items during transport.
• Demonstrating proficiency in customer service, with a focus on establishing lasting connections with clients.
• Swiftly report any vehicle malfunctions or violations to uphold safety measures and ensure compliance with regulations.
