Job Summary:

The safe and timely transportation of various chemicals and hazardous materials is the primary responsibility of drivers. They use specialised tanker trucks that transport materials in bulk. The task requires a deep understanding of safety regulations, compliance with industry-standard protocols, and meticulous attention to detail during transportation, handling, and delivery of potentially hazardous substances.

Responsibilities:

• It is incumbent upon the driver to deliver chemicals to different job sites accurately and on schedule
• Transport hazardous chemicals securely by competently driving and operating tanker trucks.
• The successful delivery of materials to job sites hinges on the ability to operate a truck safely and skillfully on public roads and job sites
• Testing the safety features of the vehicle via an examination of fluid levels, tires, lights, and other controls
• The safe handling of chemical materials during loading and unloading operations is a top priority
• Keep an eye on multiple meters while driving the car
• One effective tool for managing your vehicle-related expenses is to maintain a daily log of your car's mileage, which can help you allocate your resources more effectively
• Go above and beyond to guarantee the quality of the products being moved by the Driver
• Provide minor servicing and maintenance support to equipment.
• Carry out your duties with professionalism, courtesy, and integrity at all times
• The vehicle must remain clean and tidy at all times to guarantee optimal performance
• Safety requirements and procedures must be strictly observed at all times to ensure the wellbeing of all those involved.
• Proficient in handling work even in extreme weather conditions
• Adequately securing the cargo is an essential aspect of preventing spills, leaks, and accidents while in transit.
