Responsibilities:

• Stress the need to prioritize the safety of every driver maneuvering tractor-trailers on the highways.
• Verify the roadworthiness of vehicles through rigorous pre- and post-trip inspections.
• Strategically plan and organize delivery schedules to boost efficiency and maintain punctual delivery times.
• Follow best practices for handling and packaging shipments to ensure safe and secure transportation.
• Uphold effective communication standards with dispatchers and clients to ensure successful deliveries.
• Keep careful track of the time spent working and the maintenance tasks carried out on vehicles.
• Implementing safety protocols and adhering to DOT guidelines is paramount in ensuring the well-being of personnel and cargo.
• Notify the authorities of any vehicle malfunctions, collisions, or violations without delay to stay in line with regulations.

Qualifications:

• Sustain a genuine Class A Commercial Driver's License.
• Clean driving record.
• Accomplishment of a DOT physical exam and drug testing procedure.
• Proficiency in time-management and synchronization of tasks.
• Skilled in safely lifting and transporting heavy objects with ease.
• Experienced in customer care, with a talent for cultivating rapport with a diverse range of clients.
• Rapidly alert the necessary individuals of any vehicle-related problems or infractions to uphold safety and regulatory standards.
