Job Description
Pipe Fabricators, the Twin Cities leading Fire Protection fabricator, has an immediate opening for a material handler for our manufacturing operation in Maple Grove, MN.
Previous LP forklift experience (Class IV) is must for this position. Any overlength handling experience or side loader experience would be helpful, but is not a requirement. Most of the material being moved in the shop and loaded on flatbeds for shipping are 21’0” and longer. There will be outdoor work year-round as our product is unloaded and stored outside. The candidate will be required to lift 70 pounds on occasion as well.
This is a full-time position Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Starting wage is $22.16, with an increase every 6 months following the 2-yr progression to union scale based on the current agreement. Current top scale is over $28/hr.
Candidates must pass a drug screen and background check to be eligible for this position. Pipe Fabricators offers Health Care, Vision, and Dental plans as well as 401K.
