Job Description
Essential Functions:
- Forms an empathetic and respectful connection with all children and delivers activities that improve their self-esteem and socialization proficiencies.
- Forms a constructive education space and organizes a spectrum of exercises that improve children's physical abilities, cognitive development, verbal communication skills, and artistic expression.
- Exercises cautionary measures from training to guarantee the safety and security of children, parents, and other program participants.
- Providing a safe, healthy, and stimulating environment is crucial for early childhood programming to create a positive and supportive learning experience.
- Implements productive guidance practices regularly, including expressing expectations, presenting feasible choices, and guiding children away from improper behavior.
- As an employee, I am willing to take on any other tasks that may be allocated to me.
Additional Requirements
Preferred:
Experience - 1+ years of Early Childhood Experience.
Education - Associates in Child Studies/Education and/or obtain within 12-months of hire Certification - Child Development Associate (CDA) - Accredited University or accredited training professionals.
Physical Requirements:
Lightweight Activity - Completing tasks that call for slight physical labor, with intermittent exertion of up to 20 pounds of force, frequent exertion of up to 10 pounds of force, or negligible force continuously to move items.
