Key Responsibilities:

• Use caution while driving tractor-trailers to safeguard the well-being of all motorists.
• To verify that the vehicle is functioning properly, perform inspections before and after each trip.
• Devise a plan for delivery routes that optimizes efficiency and ensures timely arrivals at all destinations.
• Implementing the recognized industry practices for securing shipments in transit is crucial to prevent risks and damages.
• Proper communication between all parties involved in the delivery process is essential for ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
• Ensure efficiency and productivity by diligently recording work hours and vehicle maintenance reports.
• Safety protocols and DOT regulations should be treated with the utmost importance and followed accordingly.
• The timely reporting of vehicle issues, accidents, or violations is necessary to ensure safety and adhere to regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Adequate possession of a Class A CDL driver’s license.
• Clean driving record.
• An essential component of applying for a job includes successfully completing a DOT physical exam and drug screening.
• A thorough understanding of DOT mandated regulations and safety guidelines.
• Adroit in managing time and organizing workload proficiently.
• Competent in handling and transporting weighty machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
