Thompson Industrial Services, powered by Clean Harbors, is actively seeking a dedicated Class A CDL Driver and Equipment Operator to join our safety-focused team! In this role, you will operate essential equipment, including Roll Off Trailers and Dry Vans, while ensuring the safe management of customer environmental programs by transporting waste from customer sites to appropriate disposal locations.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT: Industrial settings such as Refineries, Petro-Chemical facilities, Utilities, and Pulp and Paper Mills.
WORK LOCATION: Bossier City, LA

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Prioritize safety by strictly adhering to work practices and policies.
• Pick up waste from various customer locations using vans, roll-off, or tanker units.
• Ensure safe loading and unloading of both hazardous and non-hazardous waste.
• Secure all loads properly.
• Ensure vehicles are correctly placarded to meet safety and DOT regulations.
• Maintain accurate daily logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch reports, and vehicle inspection records.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Must possess a valid Class A CDL License.
• Hazmat Endorsement is required (or must be obtained).
• A minimum of 1 year of previous Roll Off Truck experience is necessary.
• Willingness to travel up to 2 nights per week is essential.
• Ability to obtain a tanker endorsement upon hire.
• Must be capable of performing manual labor as needed.
