Job Description for Forklift Dock Operator:

As a Forklift Dock Operator at FedEx, your primary responsibility will be managing the loading and unloading of freight from trucks, sorting items, and ensuring that shipments are handled correctly.This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will need to operate machinery, such as forklifts, to move freight safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities for Forklift Dock Operator:

• Load and unload freight from trucks and trailers using appropriate equipment
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized dock area.
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Verify freight for damage and report discrepancies or issues promptly.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.

Requirements for Forklift Dock Operator:

• Candidates with a high school diploma or similar credential are preferred.
• Experience in dock operations and warehouse procedures
• Vigilant attention to particulars and exceptional organizational talents.
• Needs to be capable of adapting to changes in work hours
