Responsibilities:

• Give importance to road safety when driving tractor-trailers.
• Verify the roadworthiness of the vehicle by conducting thorough inspections before and after journeys.
• Create optimized routes to increase effectiveness and guarantee punctual deliveries.
• Ensure adherence to regulations governing the handling and packaging process to guarantee the safe transport of shipments.
• Ensure transparent and consistent communication with both dispatchers and customers during the delivery procedure.
• Keep detailed logs of hours worked and regular vehicle maintenance tasks.
• Comply with safety measures outlined by the Department of Transportation (DOT) to ensure the well-being of employees and secure transportation of goods.
• Act swiftly to report any vehicle malfunctions, events, or violations to maintain regulatory compliance.

Qualifications:

• It is mandatory to have a legitimate Class A commercial driver's license (CDL).
• Clean driving record.
• Satisfying the DOT's conditions for physical assessments and drug tests.
• Effective organization of time and coordination of tasks.
• Skillful in the secure and efficient transportation of substantial and cumbersome shipments.
• Proficient in delivering outstanding customer support while cultivating enduring connections with clientele.
• Emphasis on maintaining a safe environment and adhering to regulatory standards, with a focus on reporting incidents in a timely manner.

Experience Levels Accepted:

• CDL Trainees
• CDL School Participants
• The 12-week training curriculum for novice commercial drivers is tailored to support accelerated learning through a structured program. Experience levels of participants can vary, from 3 months to over 5 years in the field

Preferred Experience:

• Mastery of various trailer options, including dry van, reefer, flatbed, and tanker trailers, showcasing versatile skills in trailer operations.
• Familiarity with handling multiple units, combination vehicles, and the transportation of goods across various modes.
• Expertise in dealing with household goods and specialized commodities.
