I'm not the right person to provide feedback right now because I'm on a personal loa. Good $$$ through PEAK, for sure. I'm a picker front half nights (Sun-Wed 6:15pm-4:45am). It's potentially fun most of the time. Good exercise. We walk15-20 miles a night. (Ok, so it feels like it at least. I never wear a fitness tracker. Pretty sure it's a true story though 🤪) If I didn't already have a college degree I would definitely be taking advantage of the assistance they provide for career development. If they're lucky, they'll make the right decisions regarding my current situation and I might stick around to find where I can add the most value. To be continued...

Honestly I didn't know what to expect working at the Amazon fulfillment center. So far I have found that the training coaches and literally all the managers are super personable and helpful. I I took on a job as a picker for outbound yes it is way more physical than I thought it was going to be. However, The work itself is fairly simple and somewhat enjoyable. This location in Jeffersonville, follows all the covid-19 protocols which has been reassuring. I took a job as part-time flex and the real benefit of that role you get to pick your shifts that you work on a day-by-day basis if needed. They have plenty of 5-hour blocks of time available to work so for a busy parent or as a second income this is ideal. I highly recommend this place it's surprise me.

I have been working here for two weeks. Here's my honest opinion. The hiring process is very simple. Cotton swab drug test to me is fair. It's designed to detect daily use, so don't work high and your good. After that it's a background check and your in the door. You start day one with Payed and unpaid time off and an hour vacation time. As far as production, it is a job where you must stay moving. My advice is to listen to your learning ambassador. If you are not conditioned for warehouse work this may not be a good fit. It was harder than any other order selector job I've had, but it also paid better and offers more opportunities for career development. The people were all different types and the culture was unique. Even though I no longer work here it was worth trying. I would go back.
