The HR team is pathetic! Rude, disrespectful, unconcerned, high-falutins hiding behind that glass, sitting on their thumbs, playing on their phones. They will let you stand there waiting and not acknowledge you whatsoever. Pretending to be busy doing something on the computer. Should be renamed ANTI-HR because they are NOT for the people. Leaders in the building act like... 🙈🙉🙊! So there is really no one to turn to that will actually resolve serious concerns. The leaders are really managers because they manage to get through each day without being genuine leaders. They don't care about you, they only care about your productivity. You are the numbers you make. It's frustrating and demotivating. Was there almost a year and the culture is getting worse. Really sad such a great company has such poor representatives.

I have worked at this location and for Amazon almost 1 year. I come from 30+ years in management in various professional industries and though there are some issues involving management, most are minor ones that will change with experience. I love the people I work with and my direct supervisors. I find that many of the complaints about work conditions and the work process are either greatly exaggerated or non existent. The building is air conditioned and though in the middle of a Texas summer it gets about 75-78° inside, it's not oppressive. For most people that work here, this will be the easiest money you will ever make if you just do the work you hired on for. Most of those that have quit or fired were the result of their own doing but find it easier to point blame on management or HR. My simple advice.....Do your job to the best of your ability, abide to the rules and procedures and life will be good and advancement quick.
